Intelligent Design 2.0 – A digital sketch I started working on to take a break from a physics paper I am reading for an illustration assignment…. heavy stuff…. phew.

Solar sails (also called light sails or photon sails) are a form of spacecraft propulsion using the radiation pressure of light from a star or laser to push enormous ultra-thin mirrors to high speeds.

Emergence – for lack of a better title… a digital sketch I spun up this evening for kicks… there were tons of other things I could have been doing but this was more fun. And it is a Sunday after all….

I imagined giant orbital blobs of Aerogel (or similar) surrounding a super conducting magnetic core (or similar) as an effective way to start coalescing space debris without creating additional high speed impacts – generating even more debris.

Ahhhh…. the images and ideas that FB and Twitter can inspire…..
